The white button-down (WBD) shirt is a staple for any girls wardrobe; simple, classy and totally sophisticated. Always in fashion and with endless ways to style. I’ve decided to show you all 5 ways that I love to style white button-down shirts. Unlike my last 5 ways to style, I will be using the same basic white shirt in all of them. I’ve found the most beautiful Italian Linen white shirt from Frank & Eileen which I totally love to death! (Not sponsored I do love this shirt). However, I do understand that a lot of people don’t want to spend so much money on one item. No need to worry, I’ve got you girls! You can find similar white button-down shirts at a cheaper price, here, here, and here.
Now just like last time before I do anything else I like to create a Pinterest board with inspiration on it. Even if it feels a little un-realistic whenever I need outfit outfit inspo I do genuinely turn to Pinterest. Simply because it’s easy to search through and has so much content. Luckily, I’ve already made a Pinterest board that you can go and take a look at // here.
The best thing about the WBD shirt is that it’s so versatile! Tuck it in, tie it up, button up, button down, it can truly be worn so many different ways. For me this is the kind of piece that can be styled endlessly and is totally worth the investment.
The WBD shirt is so easy to wear! Style with your favourite sneakers, a comfy pair of jeans and add a backpack for the perfect everyday look.
2 . Chic
Totally dressy and a staple for every girls working wardrobe. All you need is a tailored blazer, a pair of gorgeous black pants, and your go-to pumps! Add a watch to make sure you know exactly when it’s lunch time! (Who doesn’t love lunch?)
3. Statement Red
Since the WBD Shirt is such a simple piece I wanted to show you how you could easily inject some colour into the outfit. I chose red as my statement colour but you can use whatever colour you love! Starting with a leather jacket to add an edge, heeled boots and finishing with a beautiful bag (all in your statement colour). This is probably my favourite look from the five.
While I’m not always one to go for an ‘edgy’ look as such, I still love them. They have this way of making you feel powerful and sexy, two things a girl should always feel. For this look I paired a leather jacket with ripped black jeans, the most gorgeous boots and a classic Chanel bag. The perfect mix of edge and sophistication.
There are days when we’re feeling edgy and days when we want to feel feminine. Soft colours and clean lines make for an effortlessly feminine look. Tucking my WBD shirt into a denim skirt with a cropped bell-sleeve jacket, nude pumps and a soft pink backpack.

Yay! My second 5 ways to style, I hope you all enjoyed that. I tried to create looks that would encompass everyone’s individual styles and show just how diverse the WBD shirt can be. Comment down below which look was your favourite and what clothing item you want to see styled next!
